The Auxiliary has a history of over 66 years of volunteer service providing special events, care and support, and fostering relationships and community within the Dallas Fire employees and their families. We strive to be a place for our fellow fire family members to network amongst each other and build relationships to support each other in this thing we call fire life. We play a support role to the Dallas Fire Fighters Association, Local 58. In addition to those duties, we have taken on the task of planning and hosting some fun events each year for our DFD families, along with a couple of passion projects, such as: hosting a Dallas Fire Fighter Appreciation Day, and ensuring that our Dallas Fire members that have been lost in the line of duty are remembered at several special events during the year.
