What MatchPath Is
MatchPath aggregates the scattered public record on US residency programs — accreditation, specialties, positions, match data, visa sponsorship, salary, teaching-hospital quality, and area cost-of-living — into one catalog of every ACGME-accredited program across ~200 specialties. Each program has its own page, and every field is cross-referenced across independent datasets and stamped with a verification date.
Who It's For
We build for International Medical Graduates deciding where to apply. The catalog answers the questions that decide an IMG's program list: which programs accept IMGs, which sponsor J-1 or H-1B visas, what they pay, what Step 2 CK score they expect, and how their current residents and teaching hospitals look — without stitching together a dozen sources by hand.
How We Build the Catalog
Every figure comes from an official or public source, and conflicting values are flagged rather than silently merged. We publish the full list of sources, what each one provides, and how we cross-validate on our data & methodology page. The catalog refreshes on regular ingest cycles, and each field carries the date it was last verified.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Residency decisions are high-stakes, so we treat the data that way. We prefer fewer, well-sourced facts over padding, surface a verification date so you can judge freshness, and never present an estimate as an official figure. If something looks wrong, the program page has a "Report incorrect data" control, or you can email us directly.
What We Don't Publish
The catalog is public, but contact PII — resident, faculty, and coordinator emails, phone numbers, and fax numbers — and resident photos are never published. Your own activity in the app (tracker, rank list, interviews, notes) is private to your account; see our Privacy Policy.
Independence
MatchPath is an independent aggregator. We are not affiliated with ACGME, AAMC, FREIDA, NRMP, ECFMG, or any residency program. Source names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to attribute data.
