Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta is recognized nationally as one of the most highly respected pediatric orthopaedic centers. Each year our providers see many thousands of patients ranging in age from infancy through adolescence. These children seek specialized medical and surgical care for a variety of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Our mission at Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta is to be the local leader providing orthopaedic care to children while also being regionally and nationally recognized as an innovator in tertiary services through excellence in clinical care, cutting-edge technology, teaching and research performed in a supportive and cooperative atmosphere for patients, families and colleagues. Many innovations in treatment and surgical techniques have come from the surgeons at Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta and the practice continues to be one of the busiest pediatric orthopaedic centers in the nation. Seven fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeons work through Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egelston to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care for all patients. In addition, we have two fellowship-trained sports medicine pediatricians, seven physician's assistants, one nurse practioner and one athletic trainer on staff. We are also responsible for the training of two pediatric orthopaedic fellows each year as well as resident eduction in pediatric orthopaedics for Atlanta Medical Center, Duke University, Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Pinnacle Healthcare in Hershey, PA.
