Además de ser un edificio histórico es un baluarte de la salud que pasa a ser administrado por la compañía Hospital San Antonio, Inc., en el año 1998, con un nuevo concepto que lo convierte en el primer Hospital Materno Infantil Quirúrgico en Puerto Rico. El Hospital San Antonio, Inc., se especializa en el cuidado de salud Materno Infantil Quirúrgico y Pediátrico, dando énfasis en el cuidado y bienestar de la Madre y el Niño. El hospital tiene un enfoque en el paciente a nivel terciario con condiciones críticas y diagnósticos complejos, en las áreas de Pediatría, Neonatología, Embarazadas de alto riesgo, Maternidad, Ginecología y Obstetricia. Cuenta con Unidades de Cuidado Intensivo Pediátrico, Intensivo Neonatal e Intensivo Quirúrgico. En adición, se realizan cirugías generales y pediátricas, y los servicios se ofrecen las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana. La Sala de Emergencias es una General y Pediátrica donde se ofrecen los servicios por separado para atender a los pacientes con mayor rapidez y eficiencia. El Hospital San Antonio, Inc., cuenta con la más extensa Facultad Médica de especialistas y sub-especialistas en Pediatría del área oeste.
